RESET 5.0 for 2024 is all about;
- Training, Nutrition and Recovery
- Losing those few kilos that found us over the holidays and feeling GOOD for the year ahead
- Education through training, recovery and nutrition to enhance your results for 2024
How will our RESET champions be determined?:
1. Show a positive result with InBody Scan (Weight Loss, Muscle Gain etc
2. Show a significant improvement with fitness testing for all components
3. Completed the 5 DAILY FUNDAMENTALS every day of the challenge
4. Participated in Weekend Warrior and Recovery Days
5. Shown to be a great ambassador and participant of RESET 5.0
RESETTERS will complete a Health Assessment at the beginning of the Challenge and at the end of the Challenge. The date for these assessments will be communicated to you via your club. This Health Assessment helps you measure your improvement over the month through an Inbody scan, setting goals and training plans. You will also attend a Fitness Test with your RESET Coach the weekend before RESET Challenge starts.
Each day of RESET 5.0, you will be challenged to complete each of these daily tasks;
1. Complete 12,000 steps * for 5 days per week
2. Drink 2.2L of water - 7 days per week
3. Follow a Meal Plan
4. Recovery/Mindset Read, listen to a podcast or music, walk, get out in nature for 15minutes per day - 7 days per week
5. MOVE once minimum per day (this can be your normal training routine)
Weekly training programs will be uploaded on to the RESET 5.0 Facebook Page at the start of the challenge and at the end of each week. These workouts will be in the form of a Gym floor program and designed by our Life and Soul Personal Trainers. You are encouraged to complete this workout on the gym floor . There will be a different workout, focusing on different parts of the body, every day!
Every Saturday or Sunday there will be a WEEKEND PERFORMANCE SESSION where you get to workout with your fellow RESETTERS and your Club Head RESETTER. Please book into these sessions so we can prepare your workout to perfection! On these days, you will get a chance to experience ice baths (optional) and protein/smoothie bars. Once you have joined our RESET community, your club will be in contact to advise on these session days and times.
As well as your daily workouts and the 5 DAILY FUNDAMENTALS, you will be given the opportunity to choose from 40 health and wellness tips to complete one a day. An example of these could be; get a massage, cook something healthy that you never have before, go for a sunrise walk.
Educational workshops from health professionals will run weekly for our RESET Challenge through the closed Facebook page.
Weekly Training Technique Tips
Weekly LIVE Nutritional Workshops from Georgia Otto.
Throughout the 28 days, there will be daily ‘hacks’ on the closed Facebook page, featuring educational snippets on supplements, recovering and lifestyle. Please take time to watch these and gain some extra knowledge for your training and lifestyle. Many of our Staff at Life and Soul and F45 will be featured on these and they are not to be missed! Examples of these ‘hacks’ could include;
- What types of supps you need to take, when and why
- Interesting podcasts and external learnings to listen to including sleep, recovery, meditation
- Best types of shoes and clothing to wear for what type of training
To set yourself up for success, we encourage you to purchase a MYZONE belt. For our RESET Challengers you can purchase a belt for $129 from reception. We will be running MYZONE challenges throughout the 4 weeks. You will also understand how important it is for your training to track and be accountable for how you train! MYZONE is a fantastic tool to enable you to push yourself and achieve your goals.
Be clear on your goals and what you would like to achieve out of this challenge. This challenge is for everyone from the beginner to someone who has been training for years. You will learn the correct techniques for lifting weights, you will gain an understanding of movement and the benefits your body will receive from this. Our Coaches are full of knowledge and they are bursting at the seams to share it with you, so that you can be the best version of yourself.
Yes we will have an after 'brunch' to celebrate the commitment that you made to yourself over the past 4 weeks! We will announce the RESET 5.0 Champion 2024 for each club as well as draw the winners for the LSKD Vouchers.
Our RESET 5.0 Champions will be judged through the progress you have made with your training in the 4 week challenge, the completion of the 5 DAILY FUNDAMENTALS, achieving 80% of your goals, participating in the WEEKEND WARRIOR sessions and showing progress in your fitness testing.
