Welcome Back

These past few months have been crazy….like nothing we have experienced before. All our situations have been different, whether you have kept up your training or not really trained at all…it’s okay…we have survived and now we are ready to get back into the gym and start training.

Does this worry you? Are you nervous about coming back? For some people it might be overwhelming to get back to reality and start that exercise/fitness routine up again! That’s okay too…we are here for you, to support you, encourage you, motivate you, inspire you and to help you achieve your goals. Life and Soul are ready to welcome you back.

Here are a few tips for you, which might help make coming back to the gym that little bit easier:

Go slow
If you haven’t worked out for a while, please don’t expect to be at your physical best. If you have been working out at home, it’s different getting back into the gym life…The last thing we want you to do is injure yourself. Get back into your routine at your pace!

Be kind to yourself
Don’t put too much pressure on yourself to get that ISO weight off, or to get your strength back! It will come back and you will get that ISO weight off, If you be kind to yourself, don’t expect alot from yourself…don’t worry it won’t take long!

Stretch
Please make sure you take the time to stretch after your training session. It will help with your recovery.

Be consistent
Being consistent will create the habit you are after! “success doesn’t come from what you do occasionally, it comes from what you do consistently”

Listen to your body
If you are feeling unwell, please take the day off training! Listen to your body, it is trying to tell you something.

Nourish your body
To get the best out of your body you need to nourish it with the right foods. Stock up on your fresh fruit and vegetables. Create a meal plan, this will help you succeed and to be consistent. Hydrate throughout the day, your body will thank you!

Enjoy being back amongst your gym community, be supportive, be mindful of others and please following our cleaning guidelines.

Before you come back to us take the time to reasses your goals…refresh old ones…make new ones…be smart about them…then smash them!!

Remember ‘why’ you started in the first place, remember how GOOD you felt. Don’t give up because you don’t get result straight away, things take time but know you are heading in the right direction of looking after your body from the inside and out!
