Life & Soul Proudly Supports the Mother’s Day Classic

Every May, our Life & Soul communities in Broome, Karratha and Port Hedland proudly lace up their sneakers, don their pink, and take part in the Mother’s Day Classic – Australia’s largest fun run and walk raising funds and awareness for breast and ovarian cancer research.

How We Get Involved

As official hosts of the MDC events in our towns, we bring our members, families, and local communities together for a day that’s about so much more than fitness. It’s a celebration of strength, love, and support for the women and families touched by these cancers.

In addition to hosting the events, we also release limited-edition pink merchandise in all clubs leading up to the day. Every dollar raised from these sales is donated directly to the Mother’s Day Classic Foundation.

Why It Matters

The Mother’s Day Classic has raised over $44 million for life-saving breast and ovarian cancer research since 1998. By getting involved, we’re not only showing support for those in our own community affected by cancer – we’re also contributing to a future where these diseases are detected earlier, treated more effectively, and, ultimately, beaten.
