What’s Included
Workouts and Wellness
HIIT – High Intensity Interval Training – HIIT is a type of interval training. It incorporates several rounds that alternate between several minutes of high intensity movements to significantly increase the heart rate, followed by short periods of lower intensity movements or rest.
Strength and Conditioning (S&C)– is the selection and development of dynamic exercises used to improve physical performance. S&C training involves a wide range of exercises developed to build a variety of skills with a focus on mind, mobility, stability, strength, endurance, power, speed, agility, and performance.
Yoga – VINYASA – Vinyasa yoga, in short, is characterized by continuous movement linked with the breath. It is in a Vinyasa class where you’ll most likely see things like Sun Salutations and “flowing”. Vinyasa is more fast paced where you will see an increase in heart rate and sweat.
Yoga – YIN – Yin yoga is a style of yoga that involves holding poses for a long time (usually 2-5 minutes or more) It is a slower-paced, more meditative, and passive practice that can help with sitting comfortably in meditation. It is different from other forms of yoga that are more dynamic and focus on the ‘yang’ aspect of yoga.
Workout of the day (WOD) – Plain and simple, this is the set of modalities (workout) that your coach uses to put you through on any given day.
Sound Healing Breathwork & Meditation – Sound healing, alternatively known as Sound Therapy or Vibrational Medicine, is the practice of using sound and frequency for relaxation, healing, and personal development. Sound healing can reduce your stress and anxiety, improve your sleep, create a deep sense of wellbeing, and promote healing that goes well beyond simple relaxation.
Meet Your Hosts
Cindy Kempton – Founder & Coach
Cindy is the founder and creator of Got Soul Retreats and Life and Soul Health and Fitness Clubs. Her passion for fitness and wellness has been shared throughout some of the most remote parts of Australia and she’s now expanded her love for health to Got Soul Retreats. These retreats give people a chance to reset and refocus on their lives through movement, clean food, relaxation, yoga and community. With over 35 years spent in the fitness space, Cindy and her team have put together the ultimate wellness experience.
Jackson Keep – Coach
Jacko has a wealth of experience in the health and fitness industry with prior management roles at Life and Soul Karratha and his current management position at Life and Soul at the Mayfair. As a personal trainer and The Yard Gym Coach, he holds certifications in Fitness (Cert III & IV). Jacko is super passionate about good training, restorative recovery and GOOD FOOD and you can expect to experience all of these elements during one of our retreats in Bali.
Sheree Bomer – Coach
Sheree has 10 years’ experience in the health and wellness industry with a background in anatomy, physiology, and sport nutrition. She is a true motivator, mentor, and teacher as a qualified fitness trainer and coach at Life and Soul Health and Fitness Club. Sheree is excited to share the process of health and wellbeing in one of her favourite places in the world, Bali.
Amy Wichman – Coach
Amy has always had a passion for the health and fitness industry. After 15 years in education, she extended her knowledge and for the past 2 years has become a certified group fitness instructor and co-manages our Yard Gym studio in Broome. Amy strives to create sustainable and fulfilling practices for those around her and is beyond excited to share the Balinese culture along with the process of health and well-being in such an incredible and magical place.
What’s Not Included
- Our retreats are alcohol free.
- Good quality coffee is provided; however, you are welcome to purchase a Barista prepared latte at any time.
- Beauty treatments. There is a fully operating beautician, hairdresser and a fully serviced spa menu available for purchase.
- Massages. There is a full massage menu available, and bookings are recommended. A complimentary massage will be included in your package.
- Laundry. There is a daily laundry service available from the resort at your own cost (put your laundry in before 9am and it will be returned before 4:30pm).
- Return flights into Denpasar. Cassie Perry from Helloworld, located in Karratha can assist you with both Flights and Travel Insurance.
- Cassie is the Owner and Operator of Helloworld in Karratha and has been in the travel business for over 30 years. Extremely reputable, knowledgeable, and experienced in travelling to and from Bali, she is an expert in organising all your flight and insurance needs. - Day trips (mountain bike or boat trip) are not included in the retreat package. These trips are optional and priced at approx. $100USD
- Our itinerary is set as best we can, however events, times and activities may change at short notice. Please bear with us should these changes happen.
