NORTHWEST CHAMPION – WE HAVE A WINNER!!!

Massive congratulations to MICHAEL KEMP from PORT HEDLAND who takes out this years Northwest Champion Cracker 2016!!

There were four judges for this award – one judge from each town -Derby, Broome, Port Hedland and Karratha. Some of these judges are fitness orientated, some are not, but they all are very familiar with Life and Soul and our infamous Christmas Cracker Challenge! Michael’s submission stood out to the judges through his massive support for his partner, Lorna (who ironically was PH’s Runner-Up Champ), his physical achievements, diet change, lifestyle improvements, the support he showed to fellow Crackers and general all round attitude change.

Michael wins 12mths membership to Life and Soul Health and Fitness Clubs, a fabulous trophy, his Club in Port Hedland gets to keep the perpetual Northwest Champion trophy for a year AND he gets to be one of Life and Soul’s Ambassadors for 2017 🙂

Congratulations Michael – Top effort! Also huge congrats to Amy Shelton, Henry Dos Santos and Aaron Agnew who were the other three contenders – the judging process was way too hard and none of the judges this year want to do it again next year (joking!!).

So that is the end of our award ceremonies for 2016 🙁

You should all congratulate yourselves on the effort and determination you put into the Christmas Cracker Challenge.

Over the last couple of weekends Life and Soul had their Christmas Parties along with the announcement of the Cracker Winners and Life and Soul Champion Awards.

This was Port Hedland’s first crack at the Christmas cracker, and we can already see how well next year is going to go!

2016 Christmas Cracker WINNER – Mike Kemp
Mike joined the cracker challenge for a bit of fun and to support his partner Lorna, as she was very keen to commit to the challenge.
Mike started seeing results and realized what we may be able to achieve, so kept on going.
Mike has lost a massive 11.2kgs , 4.9% body fat and 41.4cms

2016 Runner up – Lorna Dickens
Lorna has showed amazing team work and committed to this challenge, encoring and making everyone smile around her while smashing her own goals.
Lorna lost a total of 8.6kgs , 4% body fat and 45cms.
She smashed her fitness testing out and nearly doubles the reps she had done in her initial test 6 weeks ago.

2016 Best on Ground/Team Player – Charlotte Newton
Charlotte was very committed to this challenge from the start. She was posting her meal preps for everyone see, and motivating all the other crackers on the FB page with Funny memes and comments regarding how she was feeling. Charlotte Also lost a total of 6.2kgs and 5.1% body fat. WOW!!! Such amazing results and its great to hear that Charlotte has now learnt how to look after her body and how to get the best out of it.
