    Conditions of Suspension
    • All Suspension Request applications must be submitted a minimum of 48 hours prior to commencement of suspension period for Club Administration to process application.
    • Life and Soul cannot backdate suspension applications. You must submit a separate Suspension Request application to Club Administration for any extensions on current holds or normal pay schedule will recommence once the on hold period has expired

    Less than 6 months upfront, casual passes, and promotional offers are not entitled to a suspension period, as per the terms and conditions when joining. Minimum suspension 7 days.

    Direct Debit Memberships:

    • A direct debit membership has available 4 weeks free suspension for every 12 months of membership.
    • $5.00 per week suspension fee applies for a maximum of 8 weeks once free period used.
    • Suspension fees will be debited from members' accounts unless otherwise stated.
    • The direct debit minimum term payment installments will be suspended during the period of suspension and will resume once the period of suspension finishes.
    Upfront 6 and 12 months Memberships:
    • Can be suspended for a maximum of 3 weeks and 6 weeks respectively per membership term.
    • Minimum of 1 week (7 days) maximum of 3 or 6 weeks (42 days) respectively.
    Medical Suspensions:
    • Suspending your membership for pregnancy is free of charge for up to 6 months.
    • Suspension for medical reasons is also free of charge upon the presentation of medical certificate for a maximum 12 weeks.
    • If you have any outstanding fees or you can't provide written documentation or have already placed your membership on suspension for a maximum term we are unable to grant suspension.
    Club Requirements:
    • Once we receive your Suspension Request form and any documentation (if applicable) the Club Administration will action the Suspension Request within 2 business days and send an email confirmation to the member.
    If you require a suspension outside any of the above parameters, you may submit a request via email to the Club Manager.
