A little bit about me:
Father of 3 lads. Only started at the gym in Feb but it’s kinda taken over my life J

How long I have been training with Life & Soul:
I join L+S in early Feb and have really enjoyed the road so far.

My favourite area of the gym is:
Exercise classes.

My favourite exercise is:
BODYPUMP + BOOTCAMP

My favourite meal is:
All the bad stuff L

Most inspirational person/athlete in my life is:
My wife.

What I love most about training at Life & Soul is:
No one judges you & everyone helps you out.


Yvonne Denham – Port Hedland

A little bit about me:
I have lived in Port Hedland for 30+ years, after stopping for the weekend to see friends. Originally from NZ. Have 4 daughters, 3 grandchildren and a foster daughter who spends holidays with us.

How long I have been training with Life & Soul:
Over a year now.

My favourite area of the gym is:
Doing my own thing.

My favourite exercise is:
I don’t think I have a favourite – try to mix it up a bit to keep it interesting.

My favourite meal is:
Cheese omelette.

Most inspirational person/athlete in my life is:
Nelson Mandela.

What I love most about training at Life & Soul is:
It is close so I have no excuses for not going plus there is access to a whole range of equipment which I am sure my husband would not want at home.


Chris Allan Thorn – Karratha

A little bit about me:

21 years old and been in Karratha for 6 years. Used to have a major over eating complex, but that’s in the past and I’m on track to successful future. If we start a conversation be prepared to be here a while, I am a nonstop chatterbox. J

How long I have been training with Life & Soul:
3 months.

My favourite area of the gym is:
Anywhere I can lift some weight and get a good burn going.

My favourite exercise is:
I love chest day. What used to be my least worked area has become my favourite area to train.

My favourite meal is:
Definitely any form of sandwich, Salad, chutney and meat…yum,yum.

Most inspirational person/athlete in my life is:
My family and friends who inspire and push me to be the greatest version of myself.

What I love most about training at Life & Soul is:
I love the people you meet. Having the support and guidance of others working towards a common goal is what keeps me coming back.


Angela Johnstone -Broome

A little bit about me:

Wife and Mummy to 2 little terrors.

How long I have been training with Life & Soul:

I’ve been with Life and Soul since March.

My favourite area of the gym is:

Group Fitness Room.

My favourite exercise is:

Hard to pick a face…Boxing, CX, Pump, Bodyattack and Balance. Love them all.

 What I love most about training at Life & Soul is:

I love the warm happy vibe given by all the instructors and staff. Life and Soul gym is my ‘mummy’s timeout’ I love being able to book the kids into creche, zone out and focus on me.
