Sarah Hill – Derby

A little bit about me:
I am a mother of 4 beautiful children. I work within the mental health industry. I’ve GOTSOUL.

How long I have been training with Life & Soul:
Since 2014

My favourite area of the gym is:
The crèche, where I get to leave my 4 beautiful children…Group Fitness.

My favourite exercise is:
Barbell squats….Get that booty.

My favourite meal is:
Breakfast – I collect fresh eggs from my hens every morning.

Most inspirational person/athlete in my life is:
Muhammad Ali – Because I do float like a butterfly, but I can sting like a bee.

What I love most about training at Life & Soul is:
The staff feel like family. They adore my 4 beautiful children and they motivate me to keep coming back.

I have been training at Life and Soul since it first opened – June 2016

My favourite area of the gym is:
Incline bench for ab workouts

My favourite exercise is:
Running – especially on the beach

My favourite meal is:
Thai chicken stir fry with cashews

Most inspirational person/athlete in my life is:
Shara Phelps and Andy Goddard

What I love most about training at Life & Soul is:
The friendly people

A little bit about me:
Merchandiser/mum, love travel and hanging out with my awesome friends.

How long I have been training with Life & Soul:
Going on 3 years.

My favourite area of the gym is:
Weight floor and sprint room.

My favourite exercise is:
Leg press/sprint.

My favourite meal is:
Mongolian stir fry/Vietnamese.

Most inspirational person/athlete in my life is:
Every person that wakes up and decides to walk through those gym doors.

What I love most about training at Life & Soul is:
All the awesome people & training with the best gym buddy – Mel.


David O’Shea – Karratha

A little bit about me:
Moved to Karratha about 4 years ago for work but it’s become my home. Been training seriously for 3 years and just did my first comp placing 2nd in IFBB Mens Novice Physique at the Omara classic.

How long I have been training with Life & Soul:
Almost 4 years. Since my first day in town.

My favourite area of the gym is:
Weights room, definitely not the cross trainer ..LOL

My favourite exercise is:
Anything shoulder related.

My favourite meal is:
Homemade burgers with sweet potato fries.

Most inspirational person/athlete in my life is:
My mum, she always worked two jobs to provide for the family and my coach Paulie, who just turned pro.

What I love most about training at Life & Soul is:
The weekends when it’s empty and music is pumping.
